Carla Snajder, an image consultant, brings personalized shopping and styling experiences to clients in Hong Kong and Singapore.

What’s your story?
Oh boy! How to answer this in less than 4 hours and less 100 words haha

I am originally from Brazil and have been moving from country to country for the past 17 years. London, Sydney, Auckland, Hong Kong, Singapore and now I am in Hong Kong hopefully permanently. I spent a lot of my adulthood trying to figure out what I really like doing and when I finally realized that my passion for fashion could actually lead to a successful career as a personal stylist and shopper I looked to find the best in the industry to teach me how to assess clients colors, body shapes and style personality as I would like to have a strong foundation before getting started.
All the avenues pointed to Eve Roh Lindsay who not only taught me the essential skills but also offered advice on how to start my own business as a Colour Me Beautiful image consultant.

The experience was gained gradually when consulting for dozens of women and men in the first 2 years of my career which led me to win several awards that recognized my efforts as the organization’s top consultant in Hong Kong.

As my confidence increased, I decided to launch CARLA Personal Styling, a complete styling solutions provider in 2014 which has been thriving by offering wardrobe and shopping consultations for locally based clients. I have recently included Shopping Experiences to cater to the needs of luxury travelers visiting Hong Kong.

What excites you most about your industry?
People! I love to interact with so many talented and supportive entrepreneurs, not only in the fashion and retail industries but also in travel and hospitality!

What’s your connection to Asia?
My business and my network are in Hong Kong and Singapore that has taken a lot of effort to build up over the last 9 years.

Favorite city in Asia for business and why?
Hong Kong! The diversity, the fast pace, the seasons, the manageable size, the convenient location on the map.

What’s the best piece of advice you ever received?
Do what you love and you will never work a day in your life!

Who inspires you?
My boyfriend. He inspires me to be more. More confident, more generous, more organized, more proactive, more healthy, more focused.

What have you just learned recently that blew you away?
That my business can thrive during the current challenging environment. I have never been so busy.

If you had your time again, what would you do differently?
I would have started my business much earlier!

How do you unwind?
A glass of wine in the evenings, spending weekends at my boyfriend’s home away from Central watching Netflix.

Favorite Asian destination for relaxation? Why?
I tried very hard to answer this question but to tell you the truth I don’t do relaxation very well… Every time I travel with the intention to relax it ends up with crazy shopping.
