A passion for sport and fitness led this young entrepreneur into the food industry.

What’s your story?
I am a third culture kid that developed a passion for sports and fitness at a young age. This has led to me starting a meal prep company because I realised the need for that in the industry.

What excites you most about your industry?
Working in the food industry pushes you to constantly create and innovate to develop and improve your product. It’s like a constantly evolving puzzle that I need to solve.

What’s your connection to Asia?
My mum is Taiwanese and dad Singaporean and I’ve spent most of my time growing up in Asian countries.

Favourite city in Asia for business and why?
Singapore because it’s relatively hassle free to set up a business and infrastructure is well-developed.

What’s the best piece of advice you ever received?
If you want to be an anomaly, you have to act like one.

Who inspires you?
An entrepreneur that I look up to a lot is Gary Vaynerchuk. I think we see a lot of things the same way and I can really relate to the way he does business.

What have you just learnt recently that blew you away?
People walk up to me on the streets and say hi and ask for a picture because I’ve given value to them through my youtube videos.

If you had your time again, what would you do differently?
I don’t spend time thinking about what I could have or should have done. I live in the now.

How do you unwind?
I don’t have to because I love what I do and the pace I work at. I do enjoy travelling but not nearly as much as I enjoy working.

Favourite Asian destination for relaxation? Why?
Currently Koh Samui because it’s less touristy than a lot of other popular Asian destinations.

I don’t read but the most recent audiobook I listened to was #AskGaryVee: One Entrepreneur’s Take on Leadership, Social Media, and Self-Awareness.
