Using Scientific and Holistic Methods, Kim Makes Skin and Health Concerns Disappear

What’s your story?
I am of vietnamese descent and grew up in Canberra, Australia. My journey to Australia as a little refugee kid left a few emotional scars that later manifested into skin and health conditions. In search of answers, I  became a skin specialist. I now help women and teenagers globally to transform their skin from the inside out using holistic and scientific methods that are part of the Skin Transformation System I developed.

Once a person’s skin and health concerns disappear they feel more comfortable and confident within their own skin. They live happy and fulfilled lives, full of health and vitality, and they spread their happiness to people around them.

“Once a person’s skin and health concerns disappear they feel more comfortable and confident.”

What excites you most about your industry?
I’m excited about the constant growth and new findings in research about product formulations, clinical treatments, and evolving discoveries about the human mind and body connection.

What’s your connection to Asia?
I lived in Hong Kong for 9 years and now live in Hoi An, Vietnam. I’m back to my roots and am influencing the community with my western ways.

Favourite city in Asia for business and why?
Hong Kong! It’s super easy to do business there. From setup, to maintenance, etc. Taxes are low and the community for entrepreneurs is very supportive.

What’s the best piece of advice you ever received?
I was told to listen to my gut. I have an inner compass that guides me and helps me make decisions. When I listen to that inner voice, no matter the outcome, I always make the right decision because it was what I was ready to learn and to embrace, at the time.

Who inspires you?
Tony Robbins. I listen to him almost everyday!

What have you just learnt recently that blew you away?
I’ve been learning about Human Design. It’s such an amazing matrix that identifies human characteristics, personality and behaviour. I got the charts for my whole family and it was all exactly correct for each person.

If you had your time again, what would you do differently?
I think I’d be kinder to myself and give myself more time, space and energy. I’d speak to myself as I would to others.

How do you unwind?
A walk on the beach, then a swim and float in the water with my dog Abby.

Favourite Asian destination for relaxation? Why?
Hoi An, Vietnam! It’s so tranquil, peaceful and beautiful here. There’s great food, people, and you are surrounded by nature, beaches, rivers, mountains and UNESCO heritage sites. It’s also very easy to travel from here to all other Asian cities. I love it here so much!

Key Takeaway: A study has found that humble leaders can become more promotable by growing others through a “humility route”.
