Camille has a passion for helping people. As a life coach, she inspires people to keep reaching for their highest potentials.

What’s your story?
I am Camille San Diego, a Holistic Meta-Coach and an entrepreneur. My vision is to help people get a clear view of their map of the world, empowering them through awareness, self-leadership and life design. Ten years ago I was working as an operating room nurse in a small tertiary hospital in Cavite, Philippines, and I realized if I wanted a better life for my family I could not remain on minimum wage, regardless of how much I love helping people. So I started doing network marketing and earned well enough to quit my job. This opened up so many opportunities for growth. Working with people in the business, I discovered my passion and purpose in life – to empower people’s hearts and transform their minds to achieving their destiny through life coaching. I am also serving as a community leader in Soul Rich Woman.

What excites you most about your industry?
Coaching is actually the second fastest growing industry in the world today, next to IT. If you talk to most of the successful people today, they will tell you that one of the reasons they were able to achieve what they have achieved is because they had a coach. May it be superstar athletes, politicians, managers or CEOs, a coach awakens a person to greater personal transformation through powerful conversations. I believe having even just one person believing in your potential, will unleash the power within you.

What’s your connection to Asia?
I am proudly Filipino and have a blend of western and eastern cultural influences growing up. I met Genecia Alluora in 2017’s National Achievers Congress, and I thought, “Wow I would like to be a part of a greater cause and support career women.” I wasn’t able to meet her then, but I saw an opportunity when she announced she was flying into Manila for two days and was looking to meet people. I had the meeting and agreed to work with her as a community leader in Soul Rich Woman at www.SoulRichWoman.com. I strongly believe women are wonderful entrepreneurs and the idea to have convergence and to create a positive engaging environment for professional growth is going to break barriers. I am also working with international organizations like Egnatium, and the Life Coaching Training Institute to create awareness of mental health and to uplift and support the incorporation of the coaching culture in Asian countries like Malaysia and the Philippines.

Favourite city in Asia for business and why?
I have been fortunate enough to have travelled to a number of countries in Asia – Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore, Hong Kong. I find the Philippine economy is showing a lot of promise. There are more foreign investors, more community development and local businesses are growing and becoming globally competitive. Although if I were to start another business outside the country, it would probably be in beautiful Hong Kong or Singapore.

What’s the best piece of advice you ever received?
Allow yourself to be authentic to who you are. When you stay true to your inner voice, when you listen to the truth in your heart, you will never be lost.

Who inspires you?
With each person I meet, I learn something new. Sometimes people come into our lives – may it be through Facebook, our close friends, the speaker at a seminar, or the person we briefly spoke with at the train station are sent to us to transform a bit of ourselves every day. And these collective experiences I hear from my clients or encounter personally inspires me. The inspiration for me is everywhere! But one of the women I look to for inspiration recently is Lisa Nichols, a wonderful woman and a great speaker. She has helped thousands of people bring out their inner voice, and inspired them to keep reaching for their highest potentials.

What have you just learnt recently that blew you away?
“As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he.” When you focus all your energies into a thought or concept, the universe has no choice but to bring it into alignment of who you become. Being aware of your thoughts, and the ideas that you let drive your behavior creates your results. Be always intentional of who you are and what you believe. This is how powerful we really are. We create our own magic.

If you had your time again, what would you do differently?
In the past, I have had a lot of opportunities presented to me, but had no courage to follow through. Mostly because of fear of failure, and sometimes the fear of success. Albeit disappointing at times, these experiences were necessary to bring out my inner strength to grow character needed to fulfill God’s plans. If I had my time again, I would definitely do more, and doubt myself less.

How do you unwind?
I am a bit introverted when it comes to recharging my batteries. I do Yoga and meditation often. I love going out to nature, and reading a good book alone on my bed during weekends. Watching movies and good dining experience with my beloveds definitely take the stress away.

Favourite Asian destination for relaxation? Why?
I looove going to the white sand beaches! One of my favorites is Boracay in the Philippines. There’s just something peaceful about doing nothing, lounging on the beach chair while listening to the waves crash on the shores. I hope to see more beautiful destinations in Asia soon.

Everyone in business should read this book:
The Way Out by Joseph Benner is a good read. For me, success starts from within and is not found without. So finding your inner teacher will uncover so much wisdom to help you grow in life. Also, Gary Vaynerchuk, Daniel Goleman and Simon Sinek are wonderful people to learn from. I believe now more than ever that there is a need for aspiring entrepreneurs to focus on emotional intelligence, authenticity and learn from the experience of what it takes to become a real leader in business.
