Frankie Fihn is an entrepreneur from Canada who has helped numerous high end professionals to take their businesses to new heights.
In your own words what do you do?
We help lawyers to create 7 figure law practices by generating more leads, converting more of those leads into cases, and converting more clients into referrals.
What led you to your current business?
No one wakes up and thinks “I want to be a marketing guy”. Like most other high end professionals, my real estate business was stuck. I spent 3 years studying every nook and cranny of Google in order to breakthrough. It took a lot of blood sweat and tears but when we finally did it, there were lots of other people who wanted help. It just kind of evolved from there.
Could you walk us through your process of developing your business?
It’s simple. It’s simple because it’s very complex. Most marketing people are looking for the smallest loophole they can exploit for cash. We are always asking ourselves different questions.
How can we build a results machine for our clients that would be very difficult for anyone else to duplicate?
Did you encounter any particular difficulties in the beginning and how did you overcome it?
Entrepreneurship is non-stop difficulty. That’s what makes it fun.
We first had to figure out how to get clients. Once we got through that hurdle, we had to figure out how to handle all the work.
Then we had to figure out how to attract superstar staff. Now we are building superstar managers. There are always new challenges day after day. It is not for the faint of heart.
What is your long term plan?
We will be number one in the lawyer space by 2020.
Could you share with us some industry insights?
Legal is the second most competitive field after real estate agents. There are 1.3 million lawyers in the USA. That’s one lawyer for every 300 people, man, woman, and child included. With such cutthroat competition, the need to stand out and be different is incredibly important.
What are some important lessons you’ve learnt about entrepreneurship?
It’s all about your beliefs about what you think is possible.
When I first started I was enamoured by techniques and strategies. When I reached the upper echelons, it was all about changing how you viewed everything. The external reflects the internal.
Any tips for achieving success?
Believe. Work at it. Focus. Set goals. Work at it some more. There is no magic bullet. Every “overnight success” you know is 10 years in the making. Everyone sees the band that gets famous for a 3 minute song. What no one sees is the 10 years of playing in a garage by themselves to have 3 minutes of inspiration. Life and entrepreneurship is kind of like that.
You are only one big idea away. Keep working at it.
