Chiara Ghinolfi has been living in Asia for 10 years and that’s where her passion for holistic wellbeing started.

What’s your story?
I’m the former HR director of a multinational company who took a leap of faith after realising that the part of my job I enjoyed the most was mentoring/coaching people. I decided to study to become a holistic health coach as I strongly believe that human beings are “whole” and should, therefore, be treated as such and not as random pieces of an unclear image. There is a strong link between health, relationship, career, finance, creativity and all the other important areas in our life. Never looked back. I love my job!

What excites you most about your industry?
There is space for everybody who wants to embrace the coaching career. It’s all about creating the right chemistry with clients. Everybody can benefit from working with a coach.

What’s your connection to Asia?
I have been calling Asia home for the past 10 years and am not even thinking about finding another nest for me and my family. Don’t fix what is not broken!!! I love my life here! One more thing that connects me to this part of the world is that I gave birth to my third child in Shanghai, a baby girl who brought some fancy “pink” into our lives after our lovely boys.

Favourite city in Asia for business and why?
Hong Kong, the city that never sleeps where everyone with passion and commitment can create anything; Singapore, the red vibrant dot where everybody wants the best;

What’s the best piece of advice you ever received?
Trust your intuitions.

Who inspires you?
People who are able to make a difference without following trends. Gary Vay Ner Chuk is one of those cool dudes I like to listen to!

What have you just learnt recently that blew you away?
One of the most important things I have learnt recently is to trust my guts. It’s something that my Reiki master told me in the form of a question: “I wonder when you will realise that your intuitions have always the right answers”. Have found myself torn between intuitions and logic. After taking on her advice I have managed to create miracles in my life and I think this has been one of the very best thing I could have ever applied in my life. So now I ask this to you who are reading this: “When are you going to trust your guts fully?”

If you had your time again, what would you do differently?
I wouldn’t change a single moment. Not even those which are on the top of the “worst moments in my life” list. I am who I am thanks to the good and mostly thanks to the bad things I had to face.

How do you unwind?
Yoga is my passion. I also like to chill by the beach in cool places across Asia.

Favourite Asian destination for relaxation? Why?
Bali, Ubud, specifically. The energy of that place is absolutely mind-blowing. The minute I land I feel a special connection to the Earth. Grounding and calming experience. What’d more to be asked from a place?

Everyone in business should read this book:
The 5 am club. Robin Sharma is someone you can’t miss to follow!!!!

Shameless plug for your business:
Working with people who feel their life is like a bucket with holes by helping them plug the holes and feel whole.

Key Takeaway: Leading scientists and technologists often make terrible predictions about the direction of innovation, leading to misalignments between a company’s economic incentives to profit from its proprietary AI model and society’s interests in how the AI model should be monetised and deployed. However, the development of quantum computers has been slow due to the need to demonstrate an advantage over classical computers. Only a few notable quantum algorithms have been developed, such as the BB84 protocol and Shor’s algorithm, which […]
