Get In Shape and Feel Good About Yourself With Kyra’s Help

What’s your story?
Fitness became a passion of mine about 15 years ago when I decided it was time to do something for myself. The desire to help people live a healthier lifestyle is what motivated me to become a certified personal trainer and a nutritionist.

What excites you most about your industry?
I meet all kinds of people from different walks of life who want to achieve various health goals. It’s exciting to see how I am able to change lives every day. I’m not just helping people lead a healthier and more active lifestyle, I help them change how they feel about themselves.

What’s your connection to Asia?
I am a true Hong Konger at heart, born and bred here.

Favourite city in Asia for business and why?
I don’t really travel for business but my favourite city in Asia has to be Bali. It is so serene and peaceful, away from the rat race of Hong Kong.

What’s the best piece of advice you ever received?
The 5 BY 5 RULE.
“If it is not going to matter in 5 years, don’t spend more than 5 minutes being upset by it.”

Who inspires you?
Oprah Winfrey and Deepak Chopra. They have changed the way I think in life. They have taught me that I can overcome the greatest hurdles in life by believing in myself.

What have you just learnt recently that blew you away?
I have a much deeper appreciation for Pilates since training to be a pilates instructor.

If you had your time again, what would you do differently?
I wish I had started incorporating healthy habits as well as an exercise routine earlier in life.

How do you unwind?
Exercise is the best way for me to unwind.

Favourite Asian destination for relaxation? Why?
Bali…hands down. It provides much-needed peace of mind away from the buzz of Hong Kong.

Everyone in business should read this book:
“21 Lessons for the 21st Century,” by Yuval Noah Harari.

Shameless plug for your business:
I’m not your cookie-cutter trainer. I will build a truly personalized, practical approach to living your life while incorporating smarter choices into your lifestyle. My approach is not to drastically change you to a magazine cover look, but build a sustainable healthier you, and of course to turn some heads!
