Not everyone could go from being an accountant to an accredited Muay Thai instructor, but Vinz Low has.

What’s your story? 

I am an accountant turned Muay Thai Instructor.  My dad had a traffic accident when I was 7 years old and I have been made stronger by the adversities of my childhood. 

I am the only Singaporean to date to have performed Thai Swords at the Thai Embassy, Singapore. I am the authorised and sole Singapore representative for Tactical Thai Sword.

What excites you most about your industry? 

Always learning, meeting new people, enriching clients lives. Helping them destress and move better through Muay Tha. 

What is your connection to Asia? 
I was born and bred in Singapore. I travel extensively to Thailand every year for training.    

Favourite city in Asia for business and why? 
Bangkok.  The people, food , culture  and the cost of living.

What’s the best piece of advice you ever received? 
No man is an island.

Who inspires you? 

Steve Jobs

What have you just learnt recently that blew you away? 

Change management is critical.

If you had your time again, what would you do differently? 
Be less trusting and more prudent in business.
