Providing start-ups with CFO and capital raising support without the huge costs…

What’s your story?
Chartered Accountant, lived in New Zealand, Poland, United Kingdom, Australia and now Singapore. Worked for one of the  big four accounting firms, then moved into the publishing and marketing services industry with various senior finance roles. Now I provide support to start-ups through capital raising and CFO services and I’m the President  of New Zealand Chamber of Commerce (Singapore).
 
What excites you most about your industry?
SME’s – Dynamic and lots of opportunity

What’s your connection to Asia?
Live in Singapore, help start ups to establish a base in the ASEAN region

Favourite city in Asia for business and why?
Singapore as it’s relatively easy to do business and the Government thinks long term

What’s the best piece of advice you ever received?
Don’t put things off til tomorrow

Richard Branson and Martin Sorrell

What have you just learnt recently that blew you away?
The amount of transactions made every 60 seconds through various communication channels

If you had your time again, what would you do differently?
Take the opportunity to study overseas for a year as part of my degree

How do you unwind?
Relax at the pool with the wife and children

Andaman Langkawi, great hotel, nice beach
