Simon Yap is in the web design business. His company Oasis Web Asia provides web and app development for clients across the globe.

What’s your story?
Wanting to break out of my limited paying day job in order to feed my family, I was brought into the world of entrepreneurship in the web design business. I learned that it is very stressful but fulfilling running your own business.

What excites you most about your industry?
To be able to provide recommendations to my customers to adopt new innovative technology such as iBeacon and IOT that help them to reach their ROI targets. We are excited to work with companies like CASIO, Daikin, Ritz Carlton Singapore and winning awards alongside ION Orchard.

What’s your connection to Asia?
I have worked with clients from all over Asia such as Malaysia, Thailand and Brunei. There are many opportunities as I try to bring proven strategies from Singapore to Asia. The ability to penetrate the market increases the channel of income for my businesses.
